Tue 22nd Mar 2011From April 2011 Dad can now take additional paternity leave while Mum returns to work! Currently new fathers can avail of 2 weeks paternity leave but for babies due on or after 3rd April 2011 eligible dads will be able to take up to 26 weeks (i.e. 6 months) leave to care for the new baby possibly with additional statutory paternity pay.
