Alison Reid

CV:

Admitted as a Solicitor in 2005.

Alison graduated from the University of Dundee, Scotland in 2002 with LL.B (Honours) (England & Northern Ireland).

She then joined Carson McDowell Solicitors as a paralegal in the Commercial property Department.

She gained entry to the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queens University, Belfast in 2003 and began her apprenticeship with John McKee & Son in September 2003. Alison obtained her Certificate in Professional Legal Studies in 2005 and is now an assistant solicitor in the commercial and corporate department.

Member of Law Society of Northern Ireland Member of the Company & Commercial Lawyers Group

Alison is a member of the banking team and as such represents Banks and other financial institutions in secured lending matters.

She also works in all aspects of commercial property.

Alison also advises private clients in relation to the purchase and sale of domestic properties, enduring powers of attorneys, controllerships, wills and the administration of estates. Her particular area of expertise is the appointment of a controller when someone is incapable of managing their own affairs.

In her spare time, Alison’s main interests are swimming, pilates, going to the cinema, reading and eating out. She also enjoys travelling abroad and watching Ulster play at Ravenhill.
