Chris Ross

CV:

Chris graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1991 and passed his Solicitors finals at Chester College of Law in 1993. He completed his training with a firm in Chester and was admitted as a Solicitor in England in 1996. He went on to join Weightmans in Liverpool, one of the largest defendant insurance practices in the North West of England.

Having taken a year out to travel, Chris returned to Northern Ireland and joined McKee & Son in 1998, becoming a partner in the Litigation Department in 2003.

Chris has developed a wide and varied caseload defending cases in both the County Court and High Court for a number of insurance companies and a large public transport body. As well as defending road traffic accidents and public liability claims, he also handles employers’ liability claims, specialising in farming and livestock accidents.

Chris has also developed an expanding Commercial Litigation practice, acting for a major bank and a number of construction
and engineering companies.

Chris is currently Honorary Secretary of the Belfast Solicitor’s Association.

Away from the office, Chris enjoys spending his free time in Portstewart with his young family where he also enjoys running and surfing (or trying to surf!).
