Jill works in the Dispute Resolution and Debt Recovery Departments. She is involved in defence work on behalf of major insurance companies. Jill is also involved in plaintiff actions brought on behalf of private clients and in the resolution of disputes arising out of commercial agreements and contracts. She has acted for the Fisheries Conservancy Board for Northern Ireland prosecuting offences such as fishing without a licence in the Magistrates Court. Within the Debt Recovery Department, Jill undertakes secured recoveries work on behalf of a number of high profile financial institutions. Recently she has advised clients in a number of defended bridging loan repossession actions where innovative arguments regarding the Consumer Credit Act 2006 have been raised. Jill is also involved in unsecured recoveries work on behalf of a number of the main Banks and has particular experience in enforcing personal guarantees.
