Robyn-Dee joined the firm’s Banking Team as a Paralegal in July 2015, following graduating from Queen’s University Belfast, and in September 2016 commenced her training contract with the firm. She is due to qualify as a Solicitor in September 2018.
As a Trainee Solicitor within the firm, she works alongside both the Banking, Insolvency and Restructuring department and the Private Client department. She currently assists partner Andrea McCann acting for pension scheme administrators in commercial property transactions including sales, purchases and leases of commercial property as well as Employment and Licensing matters.
She has worked closely with both Alison Reid and Andrea McCann advising on behalf of a number of lenders, including not only Northern Ireland clearing banks but also those prevalent in the UK and further afield. Furthermore, she acts on behalf of a number of insolvency practitioners and receivers in the sale and management of distressed assets.
Robyn-Dee also has a great deal of experience in assisting Alison Reid with residential conveyancing and purchases, sales and lettings of commercial premises. In addition, she advises clients in the areas of Wills, Controllerships and the Administration of Estates.
Robyn-Dee worked under the supervision of Gerard Small in relation to the property aspects of the sale by Swinton Group Limited of its Northern Ireland Open & Direct Insurance business. She has also assisted Avril McCammon and Patrice Murphy in respect of multiple loan sales including overseeing management and the due diligence of a portfolio of properties.
In her spare time, Robyn-Dee enjoys reading, socialising with friends and classic films.
