Aoife works in the Dispute Resolution and Debt Recovery Departments. In the Dispute Resolution Department, Aoife advises a management company in relation to several areas, including landlord/tenancy disputes, anti-social behaviour, recovery of rent and/or service arrears, and ejectment proceedings. Aoife is currently defending a breach of contract claim which includes injunctive proceedings. Aoife further assists Chris Ross, Partner of the Department, in a number of professional negligence cases and commercial litigation disputes. Other work Aoife has recently been in involved includes prosecution work on behalf of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency and appealing the decision of the Compensation Services in a Criminal Damage claim. 

Within the Debt Recovery Department, Aoife undertakes both secured and unsecured work on behalf of a number of high profile financial institutions. This includes repossession actions (realising both legal and equitable security), Recovery of Goods actions and obtaining money judgments. She is currently involved in enforcing in a number of personal guarantees. Aoife also acts on behalf of creditors bringing winding-up and bankruptcy proceedings. Aoife attends the Chancery and Commercial Courts regularly. In 2015, she set up a committee of Chancery Court users which meets with the Chancery Master and deals with any issues pertinent to the Master’s Chancery Court.
